CaliforNia Christmas
This is the first Christmas that I spent with just my boyfriend and myself. It was quiet but has still been full of food, laughs and love. I cooked dinner all by myself, which I am very proud of (minus the ribs which are from honey baked ham), and made holiday cocktails!

FNO X BCBG Max Azria
My favorite part of FNO in SF this year was going to BCBG and partaking in their #BCBGFNO competition on Instagram! The staff was extremely friendly, and all fashionable, and made me feel happy that I sacrificed my toes to BCBG stilettos on beat-up streets and a short skirt on a cool, windy night thanks to their sweet compliments. For their FNO festivities, BCBG encouraged guests to pick out a BCBG outfit and style themselves from head to toe to compete for a $1000 BCBG wardrobe. Worth a try right? So, I did!
Here are some images of the BCBG SF store, my actual outfit from FNO (also featured in the previous post) as well as my Instagram images for the competition:

Pep Talk
I try not to get too personal on my blog but yesterday was my boyfriend's last day visiting me in the US and it was emotional, to say the least. However, I still wanted to go out and get dressed up for one last day out on the town until he and I reunite. I quickly decided to wear my black peplum skirt in order to be dressed up but still cool enough for the blazing sun and paired it with a sleeveless lace top for a romantic touch, and a hot pink necklace and shoes for fun. Finally, I added a scarf tied like a head wrap to help beat the sun, an arm party (one of my favorite ways to accessorize) and a black clutch to finish it off.
The day was bittersweet but after a few pep talks to myself to stay positive, I managed to look at the bright side and simply enjoy my last hours with my love...

Vintage Blues...
I was exploring downtown Fayetteville, NC, around Hay St., and just so happened to run into a cool English mini complete with British flag painted on the rooftop. It matched my blue vintage heels perfectly! Not only did the old-school English car give me a vintage feel, but the entire downtown had a classic, antique style that inspired me, from the brick walls to the rugged buildings, and I plan to visit again to discover other areas it may have to offer.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...
I was in love with the nature and pure bliss of the Fayetteville Rose Garden. At first, I actually got lost and stumbled upon this fountain and the surrounding beautiful bushes but eventually I made my way into the romantic rose garden...the scenery made me feel like I was back in Europe, walking in a landscaped park during the cool of evening and daydreaming despite the fact that I was realistically in blistering southern American weather. Goes to show you can find your dream environment anywhere if you keep your eyes open because it's not the name of the place that counts, (what's in a name...? as Shakespeare once wrote), yet what the subject actually is...
Location: Fayetteville Rose Garden at FTCC in North Carolina
